UCLA breakthrough

I recently e-mailed UCLA to see if I could get them off high center as my Oncologist and myself did not want to restart chemo as it would interfer with some of the tests they needed to do so I encouraged them to give us a timetable. I had been encouraging this for several months to no avail. With lots of prayer and waiting they called me and set up a time to come and get the leukophorsis but had to send over 20 tubes of blood first now before this weekend before the trip. fortunately I was able to get this sent today and I pray it arrives in good shape and I request prayers for my procedure Monday and Tuesday of next week as I have been waiting this opportunity for 6-8 months. I believe God's timing is always right but it is hard to wait. After this UCLA has scheduled 3 vaccine shots to be given after all the testing is satisfactory so all must go well. Please pray for all of this. I'm feeling good and anxious for the next curve in the road as it is never dull and boring. God bless you all Dr Jim and Linda

MRI report

This was a long day with patients and getting ready for my MRI. For some reason I was a lot more nervous than usual for this one and fortunately had a lot of prayer going in that calmed me down. Shame on me for not casting all my care of Him but the Lord has forgiven me. Fortunatly on my way home the radiologist called me to tell me the good news that my MRI looked the same as my last 2 so no evident now of tumor so we continue in a good remission and pray for complete healing which I believe is happening. Still waiting of the final word from UCLA as this will affect all my summer plans as this will require several trips to California that have top priority and have to happen at set time intervals. Prayer request

I am doing great and attended a Medical Meeting most of the weekend. Also my wife and I celebrated our 28 wedding anniversery. I have an MRI on Wed May 9 so pray for continued healing and California doors to open. God bless you. Jim
