What a day as it has been 2 incredible years since this adventure officially began. The diagnosis and urgency began exactly two years ago. So much has happened and looking back for the good as I would never have known all of these insights without these struggles. The Lord is so faithful and His grace is truly sufficient for everything. He so often will bring so many special people into your life to prove His love and constant presence. The years have been tough but I've learned so much and learned to love the Lord and a greater hunger for His Word than ever before and pray that He will use me and I believe that is happening in a lot of ways. I'm a lot bolder and am ready to pray with someone at any time. I hope this time this attempt at this blog goes through as I've tried several time to put into some words the meaning of this day and the special people who have called, sent cards helped in so many ways and are praying for me and their fellowship. It is what has helped sustain me. I remember the mornings where I would hear the lawnmower outside and someone just came over and was dong what was needed without being asked. Rarely would we ask even though we needed to a lot. It must be this guy pride. I know I can do it. If I get a little down a pull out some of the cards people have sent and it reminds me of friends that care and encourage me.Or about that time the phone rings and its someone checking up on me as I was on their heart and mind.I can't thank everyone enough and please don't quit now as the battle is not over. Love Dr Jim

August news

Since being back from California and the vaccines I sent them a bunch of blood they requested and saw my oncologist. She scheduled an MRI of my brain and good news it was great. I'm praying it will be better than it ever was. So I was so pumped when I heard this. She also after visiting with the people in UCLA want to continue chemo to the end of the year so I'll have to get mentally up for this but I will start tonight. It makes you sun sensitive so I'll have to be more careful and use lots of sunscreen. Please keep up the prayers I'm so blessed and being used more and more. Luv Dr Jim and Linda

UCLA was a God ordained path

Finally I received the third vaccine after going o California every two weeks. That was so draining, stressful and expensive and the only side effect was poverty. I'll be followed with MRI's and am to get one scheduled at the end of this month and maybe some more chemo. The people at UCLA were so professional and nice so it was a good experience. The hastle of LA sure makes me appreciate the life in Oklahoma. thanks for all the prayers so please keep it up. Luv you Dr Jim, I hope to get some follow up boosters in 3 months.
